Mr. Barahona has performed several business valuations in his career. As a Valuation Analyst at Walter C. King he has performed business valuation for gift tax, sale and buyout purposes. In terms of litigation services, he has worked together with Mr. Walter C. King II, by determining economic damages and fair compensation in dissident shareholder actions. Before coming to the US, he was the Head of Equity Research for a prestigious Peruvian Investment bank. In this position, he performed business valuation for public companies in the Mining, Brewing, and Energy sectors. He was also involved in primary and secondary offerings of equity and fixed income instruments in the Peruvian Stock Market. In the US, he worked as a turnaround consultant for tech companies in Silicon Valley, devising financial strategies for restructuring and liquidation. Currently, he is pursuing the ASA designation, having completed two out of the four courses required. He is also a CFA Level I candidate.

Gina has been with our Firm since January 1998.  She started as the Administrative Assistant and quickly incorporated her extensive background in bookkeeping and business management to become our Office Manager.

 As part of our Firm’s policy for Continuing Education, she has participated in programs and seminars enhancing her skills in Word, Excel, Creative Solutions, financial reporting, personnel management, payroll, and Quickbooks.  

 Gina handles all our office administrative matters, as well as the financial and payroll reporting for our bookkeeping clients.  She is fluent in Italian.

Manger of Accounting Services. Kyle is responsible for audit, review and compilation of financial statements, tax return compliance and preparation, financial modeling, as well as performing analysis of financial statements. Kyle works with Wally in preparing the information necessary for certain litigation support engagements and reviewing business valuation reports.  

Functional Experience:

Kyle has an aggregate of 17 years experience in both private and public accounting.  He has conducted audits in both the profit and non-profit sectors. He prepared financial statements for a large variety of industries and has conducted "yellow book" audits for non-profit institutions.  He has a concentration of experience of in audits of unions including "union payroll audits".  He has conducted due diligence engagements in merger and acquisitions and has business valuation experience. He has extensive experience in tax planning, tax return preparation and IRS negotiations.  He has assisted clients in securing financing. He has an excellent computer back round and has assisted clients in the installation of accounting systems, including Quick Books & Peach Tree.
